View larger./em/b/font /td/tr /table brbFlip up Seats to Give Kids a Comfy Ride; Flip Seats Down for More Storage/bbr Winner of awards including the National Parenting Publications Gold Award and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio's Gold Seal Award, the Pathfinder is smaller than the Radio Flyer's Ultimate Family Wagon, but still roomy. Two kids can ride comfortably, or one child can ride with plenty of extra room for storage. Even three smaller kids might be able to ride in this versatile wagon (but keep in mind there are only two seat belts). P The flip-up seats provide back support for the young ones, but don't recline, which would be nice for sleepy kids. The Pathfinder is made of sturdy plastic, in Radio Flyer's trademark red color. Assembling the wagon is fairly easy, but it does take a little time to get it right, and you should follow the illustrated instructions carefully. P bA Classic Wagon Just Gets Better/bbr Radio Flyer has been making wagons since 1923. Besides good, old-fashioned durability and great design, this solid wagon offers plenty of extras, including cup holders, an extra long handle, and flip-up seats. Safety features such as seat belts and non-tip turning are popular features for parents. The roominess of the Pathfinder means you can haul a lot of kids and toys, but beware, when fully loaded, it can get heavy.PbCertified Frustration-Free Packaging/bbrAmazon.com has certified this product's packaging is Frustration-Free. Perfect for the beach August 29, 2010 Billy Daddy I had bought this for the sole purpose of taking our two kids from our beach house to and on to the beach. And it worked great. The wheels are big enough to handle the sand and sturdy enough to pull two small kids, (mine are 4 and 2) on the sidewalk. We even took them for a long walk with it, instead of using our double stroller one morning. Both were comfortable sitting across from each other without being on top of each other or kicking each other.
br /Easy to put together.
br /Easy to hose down to get all the excess sand off and the holes on the bottom of the wagon allow the water (and sand) to escape.
br /Great buy! Looked for similar product on other auction websites and Amazon was the cheapest!
great buy August 28, 2010 2girlsandpup (CO) Our girls love this wagon...it especially works well for our 5-year-old that has low trunk support and needs the extra support of the backrest and waist strap. This is a nice alternative to her wheelchair. It also makes a great little nap spot for our 3-year-old.
Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagon August 25, 2010 rms9397 Not having used Amazon before often, I was very happy with this order. It was very well priced (and I mean very well) and prompt shipment activity. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for this product. The 1 year old new owner of the wagon is very happy with it!
Safe wagon even during SCARY runaway accident!! August 24, 2010 Bonnie Dauterman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can't believe the accident we had yesterday...a five year old friend pushed our Radio Flyer wagon down our steep driveway with two 2 year olds strapped in. The wagon's wheels rolled smoothly and went straight as an arrow despite very fast speed!! I chased it down the driveway to try and catch them but could not catch up...the wagon hit a shrub and stopped without anyone being hurt. I cannot believe that this wagon didn't turn, wobble, or flip at such a fast speed. I credit the low center of gravity and the high back seats (oh yeah, seat belts too!). This is something you never think of when buying a wagon, but it sure served us well. I still can't believe that neither child was hurt. Thank you Radio Flyer!!
My daughter loves it! August 23, 2010 N. Sarlow (Detroit, Mi USA) We've owned this RF for around 4 months now and it's been great. It fits on our trunk so we can take it wherever we go and my daughter loves riding in it.
br /
br /- The wheels are plastic (not rubber) but they're not noisy like I expected them to be when I was putting it together.
br /
br /- This week we really tested it out with carrying our 2 y.o. plus a cooler (filled with ice and drinks) and some bags (maybe 80lb in all). While it works great being pulled, when i tried to push it, the handle almost felt like its going to rip out of it's connection (although it didn't).
br /
br /- If you're trying to change directions and go back the other way, sometimes the wheels need a bit of help turning around.
br /
br /- works really well on hard surfaces, but the handle connection doesn't look like it will last for continual use off-road.
br /
br /Overall we're really happy with it and my daughter always asks if we can go for a walk so she can ride in it.
