Pinched Fingers and Rusty Screws August 1, 2010 M. Johnson Our daughter is 17 months old and I got this for her months ago. She loves the little toys that come inside of it, especially the cups and fish. I had to take the boat away from her because her little fingers got pinched in the water wheel and the screws are now rusted anyway, so it does not hold up to water. Oh well.....
Joy April 8, 2010 Joy (Lansing, MI) I bought this for my son almost two years ago, he is now three and still loves to play in the bath with it. It is definitely one of his favorite bath time toys, well worth the money!
Fun toy! September 3, 2009 MPMom (CA) We rec'd this toy as a gift when our youngest turned 1. We love it! She's now almost 2 and along with her 3.5y old sister, they play with this every time they take a bath. I'm guessing there were some design flaws initially that have since been fixed as our boat floats as does the life preserver. The toys are great fun. We highly recommend this toy!
Cute toy August 12, 2009 Lisa Chu (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The girls seem to like it. There is a lot going on with this toy which provides endless entertainment for my twin one-year-olds. I think they will enjoy fishing with the hook when they are a bit older, but for now they like playing with the fish swinging the fishing rod around like a numchuck (sp?). The cups are good teething toys as the rims are textured. The little boat moves if the propeller is wound, and there is a locking mechanism in case you want to pre-wind it and let your baby hit the release. The grooming tools - brush, comb - are a nice touch. The octopus comb looks a lot like PacMan. :) The only negative is that the life preserver doesn't float - sinks like a stone. Whose idea was that? Otherwise, a great toy. Not BPA free, fyi.
Great Toy June 2, 2009 cheepi6504 (Wilmington, MA USA) my son got this as a gift when he was 6 months and he loves it. The cups are his favorite, he always wants to carry them around the house even after his bath. they have rubber rim so he loves to chew on them. The little captain is also a favorite that we take with us from time to time. The fish are great too. we just started using the boat and he's squeals with delight when it moves across the tub! Great toy, Great price!
