| Customer Reviews: Cute Heffalump; Song ends too quickly February 24, 2009 C. G. (United States) I purchased this pulldown musical toy hoping that my baby would love it, and she does. However, while it is cute, and she can cuddle it, the song only plays through maybe three times before turning off. It ends much more quickly than any of my other pulldown musical animals for my other children, which was disappointing since it doesn't play long enough to comfort a child and help them fall asleep before it needs pulling again.

br /If you don't mind the shortness of the music, it is a cute musical toy, though, and my now toddler does love to hug it and carry it around.
Cute but not worth $[...] April 4, 2008 guacgirl (California, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a cute toy, especially if you like Disney characters. But I definitely don't think it's worth $[...] I don't think I'd pay more than $[...] for it (which unfortunately I did).
br /
br /The things I don't like about it are:
br /1) The amount of time the music plays is very, very short. It is because it plays when you pull the elephant's trunk which isn't a very long trunk.
br /
br /2) I fastened it with the velcro straps to the crib -- if you have a crib with a thick bar, you will have trouble. After I fastened it to the crib, I pulled on the trunk to start the music and the whole thing just totally came right off! Velcro did nothing to keep it in position. The problem is because you have to pull pretty hard on the trunk to start up the music. I suppose the solution would be to use two hands -- one to pull the trunk and one to hold the elephant in place.
br /
br /By the way, I am doubtful a young baby would be able to pull the trunk, so if you're looking for a toy to hang in the crib that the baby might be able to amuse themself with when they wake up in the morning, this probably isn't it.
