5 out of 5 stars BELOVED TOY   August 27, 2010
P. Coe
This toy was so adored by our first granddaughter we purchased it for our second. It is a great toy, especially when they realize they can scroll the toy between three modes. A hit for grandparents and fun for the kids!

1 out of 5 stars way too expensive for what it is..   September 5, 2009
oscar (London, United Kingdom)
This toy looked like it was going to be plush, big and great value on line when i ordered it but for that money you could buy 10 other things that your baby would enjoy more. Its hard to press for the sounds so my 14 month son has not been interested in it. And now that he's older, and he can press the sounds, its not exciting enough for him. I was expecting something very much more. boring, and total waste of money!

5 out of 5 stars Baby Time Fun!   January 13, 2009
Donna D. Haxton (Dallas Center, IA, USA)
Sassy LeapFrog Baby Colors and Tunes Octopus br / This looked like great fun for the baby. It was marked for the newborn and up. I gave it to my daughter's youngest, and her report was that it isn't for the newborn to four month old...at least not for her child who loves lying on her back batting at toys. This will be better for the five to six month old who is able to sit and reach with her/his hand or lay on his/her tummy and reach out for the different buttons. I was disappointed but it will be fun at some point.

4 out of 5 stars 5 month old enjoys, but Yellow touchpad already broken   October 15, 2008

As I expected my baby boy at 4 months old really took interest in this toy. He is teething and likes to chew on every appendage, even the ribbon "hair". He is delighted by the sounds, especially the rhyme mode, and works well to divert him from cranky moments during play. The back of the octopus' head has a velcro opening, which enables you to possibly wash the fabric body, but I have not tried to do it yet. However, the Yellow tentacle's touchpad receiver became broken after only a couple of weeks of very light play, which is disappointing. Overall, he does not seem to know the difference, and plays with it in various ways. It is a good toy for parent-child interactive play.

4 out of 5 stars Sweet   May 28, 2008

Very bright and fun. My baby is a little too young (8 months) to press the keys completely each time, but I am sure she will enjoy it as she gets bigger. She loves shaking the beads on the leap frog tag.
